SEWER TRENCH - SEWER TRENCH [EP]

Sewer Trench is a band from London formed by two Brazilians (Kez and Eins) and New Zealand (Marc), Russian (Alex) and Polish (Jay). This self titled EP is the result of a mixture of grindcore, crustcore, death metal and other temperate woes angry and all done for them. The cover art and logo were made by Skinny. The formation of the band at the moment is: Marc (vocals), Kez (bass), Alex (drums), Einstein (guitar on "Sewer Trench (EP)" but left the band for personal reasons) and Jay (guitar). No the sing-a-longs, the catchy riffs or hooks, it is just d-beats, blast beats and ugly music.

ZYANOSE - PUTRID SICK SOCIETY
The first time I heard a band with two bass players was Nulla Osta. In 2008 I had the opportunity to watch them at a gig in Belo Horizonte at Area 51 and the show was amazing. And in 2014 ZyanosE launches its material called "Putrid Sick Society". Extremely infernal noise made by this Japanese power trio on this record, where the distortion of the two bass players outperform a guitar and drum sound is like a jackhammer. Noise as fuck and anti music, ZyanosE was once again able to fuck your delicate ears. Crasher Crust 100% rotten teeth!!!

OMEGA SUN - REHEARSAL DEMO 2013
Peavey 5150 on the cover. Imagine the sound quality that this amplifier produces. Of course, you know!?!? So probably this is one of the stereos of Omega Sun, band from Slovenia. This rehearsal demo, the band plays two instrumental songs titled of "III" and "IV" and the influence is purely Black Sabbath.

HUMAN HOST BODY - 4 SONG DEMO
When I accessed the band's page on bandcamp and I read the following description: "D-beat possessed metal from Istria. Anarchist/anti-civ/pro-collapse!", the first thing that came to mind was John Zerzan, one of the most aware of the contemporary era anarchist philosophers, of which I am a great admirer of his writings. Excited, I heard the music made by Human Host Body calmly and attention. Well then, this demo contains four tracks and this band does not play d-beat but just death metal. Yes, the band is influenced by hardcore music but the Human Host Body is a death metal band. The track "Leviathan" is simply influenced by Cannibal Corpse. Regardless, Human Host Body is a good band, I like what I read and heard. Cover art by Volodea Biri (ex Void Forger).

REPRESSION ATTACK - ALTAR OF DESTRUCTION
You know the brazilian expression "a coisa tá ruça"? I guess not, because there is no correct translation for English… Well then, hard times and a lot of confusion for the russians at the moment, and we all know this through the media’s information. And with regard to this, the band Repression Attack launches its first full-length called "Altar of Destruction", which portrays in a way a bit of the situation in his lyrics, which are very good by the way. Musically the guys play stenchcore/metallic crust in the vein of the '80s and the influences of Deviated Instinct, Axegrinder and Sacrilege are very clear in the sound of Repression Attack. That stench is good!
